THE CONTENT AND MECHANISM OF FORMING A STRATEGY OF DIGITALIZATION IN BUSINESS ORGANIZATIONS

Abstract

One of the essential features of the new economy (neo-economics) is the increasing use of information and communication technologies, which has led to the emergence and spread of the concept of “digitalization”. The article reveals the essence of digitalization, certain of its forms and directions, advantages and disadvantages, obstacles of implementation. The author's understanding of the essence of the concept of “digital strategy” is presented, the structural and logical sequence of its development is proposed, and the substantive content of individual stages of work is disclosed. The outlined approach to the formation of digital strategy will help business organizations to adapt to the growing pace of digitalization, to ensure their sustainable development.
