THE CULTIVATION OF MEDIA COMPETENCY AMONG PROSPECTIVE EDUCATORS AS A PEDAGOGICAL ISSUE IN UZBEKISTAN

Abstract

This article outlines the elements of media competency that contemporary educators should incorporate and successfully cultivate within the parameters of academic instruction. The use of media tools by educators in the educational process, the development of a positive attitude toward artificial intelligence, the reliability of information, search, storage, processing, creation, and educators' role in making it understandable for users; the impact of information and communication tools and technologies on individuals and society, cyber threats, the use of media tools in various educational forms and educational programs, and the use of media tools in the educational process are all covered in works conducted in the media field. In conclusion, this study highlights the necessity for future educators to focus on improving the educational process and helping students become proficient media consumers.
