THE CURRENT STATE AND DEVELOPMENT PROSPECTS OF THE UKRAINIAN DERIVATIVES MARKET

Abstract
The article explores the functioning features of the Ukrainian derivatives market. It outlines the opportunities that using derivative contracts gives to economic agents. The dynamics of new derivatives emissions on the market, as well as of trading volumes of options and futures contracts on the Ukrainian exchange are analyzed. The development prospects of the national derivatives market are determined using mathematical economic forecasting methods. The key factors that can contribute to the development of the said market are indicated.
