Abstract
The Covid-19 pandemic has forced an international lockdown. During an indefinite period of heightened anxiety, healthcare workers have emerged as hidden heroes who are the truly essential workers. Yet in the economic blueprints of governments worldwide, the eldercare sector in particular is a missing link in public health concerns.
