The Design Algorithm of the Optimum Structure from the Elasticity Module Point of View for Composite Materials
Journal Title: INCAS BULLETIN - Year 2012, Vol 4, Issue 3
Abstract
: Unlike other researches in the field, the simultaneous influence of all structural elements on the elasticity module is studied in this paper. The obtained physical – mathematical model is in good accordance with the experimental results and it can be used in practice by calculating, prior to the production, the values the structural elements must have so that the composite has a certain elasticity module. The model gives the opportunity of quick and exact determination of the values for the structural elements without experimental determinations and successive difficult calculations. The method of establishing the optimum structure presented here can be also used for other composites and other mechanical properties.

Take-off and landing of aicraft
In this paper, the take-off and landing segments of an airplane trajectory are studied. The equations of motion for the ground run are derived and solved for distance. Then, specific formulas are obtained for the take-of...
Flutter Analysis of a Morphing Wing Technology Demonstrator: Numerical Simulation and Wind Tunnel Testinga
As part of a morphing wing technology project, the flutter analysis of two finite element models and the experimental results of a morphing wing demonstrator equipped with aileron are presented. The finite element models...
The completion of the mathematical model by parameter identification for simulating a turbofan engine
The purpose of this paper is to set up a method to determine the missing engine design parameters (turbine inlet temperature T3T, airflow rate) which significantly influence the jet engines thrust. The authors have intro...
Aluminum/glass fibre and aluminum/carbon fibre hybrid laminates
The metal/fibre hybrid laminates consist of an alternation of 0.2 ÷ 0.5 mm metallic sheets (Aluminum or Titanium in Aeronautical Engineering) and pre-pregs made of unidirectional carbon or aramid or glass fibre or of th...
On the synthesis of the pilot optimal control model
The study continues some work of the authors, this time performing a synthesis of optimal control model of the human pilot in systems with input delay, by removing the Padé or Hess approximations characterizing the pilot...
