THE DETERMINATION OF REAR WALL STRESSES OF THE SCRAPER BOWL
Journal Title: Вестник Харьковского национального автомобильно-дорожного университета - Year 2014, Vol 65, Issue
Abstract
The article is devoted to investigating the design concepts of the rear walls of the scraper. The research has been performed in CAD Solid Works Simulation of the stress state of the rear wall and using polarization-optical method for modelling the process of bowl unloading. The new suggested design of the rear wall of the scraper has more uniform stress distribution and it reduces the overall stress by 30-40%.
