The determination ruminal degradation of sorghum hybrids

Abstract

In this study four sorghum silage were tested with nylon bag technique. Tow fistulae Gizel sheep with average BW 50.5±2.5 kg used in a complete randomized design. Ruminal DM and CP disappearance were measured 0,4,8,12,16,24,36,48,72 and 96 h. Dry matter degradability of R161 and R165 at 96h were 66.88 and 62.35%, respectively were higher and lower DM degradability that showed significant differences (p<0.05).
