The development of meat cattle breeding in the conditions of globalization

Abstract

Researched the dynamics of the main indicators of meat cattle breeding industry.Established that since independence there was growing emphasis shift from cattle agricultural manufacturers to individual farms. Determined that the efficiency of beef production is influenced by such factors as a complete nutrition foods, selection and breeding work, the availability of feed produced, state financial support, low purchasing power and so on.It is shown that the productivity of animals, the cost of feed units per 1 kg of live weight of cattle significantly behind the average European. It was found that the last years Ukraine has increased exports of beef and reduced imports. Given the main ways to develop meat cattle breeding industry based on innovation.
