The Development of transport sector in Ukraine: current status and European experience

Abstract
The article examines institutional support and the current status of the transport sector. Special attention is paid to the civil aviation. The indicators of industrial activity and the instruments of government support in the civil aviation sector are analyzed in details. Having thoroughly analysed the EU directives listed in the Association Agreement with the EU, the author has substantiated transition to the European practices of supporting the transport industry.
