The Doppler Detection Fault
Journal Title: Physical Science International Journal - Year 2017, Vol 13, Issue 1
Abstract
In the study of the interaction of ultrasound with metals discovered an unusual phenomenon. Microwave sensor indicates fluctuations of electric surface conductivity when exposed to elastic ultrasonic vibrations in metal objects. The defective area is characterized by a content of microdefects of the type "the mouth of the cracks". They are known as the field of "acoustic activity" the method of Acoustic Emission (AE). The high coefficient of phase modulation of the reflected field allows you to indicate the Doppler signal is useful for 6-30 dB over the noise from a distance of 70-180 mm. The phenomenon is called "of Gorbunov effect". It has been successfully used as remote non-destructive testing method is ultrasonic methods of flaw detection, acoustic emission. It has been successfully used as remote non-destructive testing method that replaces the ultrasonic methods of flaw detection, acoustic emission.

Elemental Characterization and Source Identification of Fine Particulate Matter (PM2.5) in an Industrial Area of Lagos State, Nigeria
Fine particles (PM2.5) are mainly generated by combustion processes including emissions from motor vehicles, combustion of fossil fuel for power generation and large industrial processes such as ore and metal smelting. T...
Arbitrary l-state Solution of the Schrödinger Equation for q-deformed Attractive Radial Plus Coulomb-like Molecular Potential within the Framework of NU-Method
The Schrödinger equation in one dimension for the q-deformed attractive radial plus coulomb-like molecular potential (ARCMP) is solved approximately to obtain bound states eigen solutions using the parametric Nikiforov-U...
Investigation of Field Induced Effect of High Voltage Transmission Line in Calabar South, Nigeria
Due to increase in energy cost of transmission, high voltage transmission becomes the most economical for the transfer of large amounts of electrical power, because the higher the transmission voltage, the more efficient...
Variability of Horizontal Magnetic Field Intensity from Some Stations within the Equatorial Electrojet Belt
The variability of the horizontal component of magnetic field intensity from 7 stations within the Equatorial electrojet (EEJ) belt (±3° of the magnetic equator) has been investigated using year 2008 data measured from t...
Natural Radioactivity and Radiological Risk Estimation of Drinking Water from Okposi and Uburu Salt Lake Area, Ebonyi State, Nigeria
Aim: The objectives of this study was to measure the activity concentration of natural radionuclides in different drinking water sources in order to access the associated radiological health risk due to ingestion of such...
