The dynamic simulation of the natural gas transportation
Journal Title: Ovidius University Annals of Chemistry - Analele Universităţii "Ovidius" Constanţa. Seria chimie - Year 2013, Vol 24, Issue 2
Abstract
The natural gas consumption of the operators connected to the gas transport system depends on the gas needs. As gas needs vary in time, the whole process of gas transportation is, therefore, nonstationary. The paper presents nonstationary simulations for a gas transportation network and highlights the parameters values (flows, pressures) that are necessary to assure the safety of the system.

Effect of thermal treatment on antioxidant activity and colour of carrot purées
Total antioxidant activity, levels of bio-active compound groups and instrumental colour of carrot purée subjected to thermal treatment (70°C/2 min) were measured. The method applied to the dosage of ascorbic acid was wi...
Retinol, cholecalciferol and alpha-tocopherol contents of Bulgarian Black Sea fish species
The aim of the present study is to determine and to compare the content of retinol, cholecalciferol and alpha-tocopherol in edible tissue of two Black sea fishes - Garfish (Belone belone) and Turbot (Psetta maxima). All-...
Morphology, microstructure and magnetic properties of thermionic vacuum arc deposited NiFeCu ferromagnetic thin films
NiFeCo granular ferromagnetic thin films were deposited on glass and silicon wafer substrates in thermionic vacuum arc plasma with simultaneous ignition of plasma in Cu and NiFe vapors. The structural and morphological p...
Ways to improve conditions in mineral oil lubrication of the internal combustion engines
The paper analyses some phenomena affecting the cam-follower contact conditions, highlights some detrimental influences over the lubrication regime in this contact. The analysis of the theoretical model revealed the sign...
Quantification of sugar in different brands of drinks
The levels of invert sugar (glucose/fructose mixture resulting from inversion) were determined in different brands of orange, grapefruit, lemon, apricot and raspberry products. Samples of fresh juice, soft drink, syrup,...
