THE ECONOMIC AND LEGAL ASPECTS OF UKRAINIAN BANKS’ REPUTATION ASSESSMENT

Abstract
The article is devoted to an investigation of results, developed through the analysis of the terminological essence of the concept of “goodwill” (business reputation); the economic significance of goodwill as an indicator of the business reputation value is determined; the existing in the legislative framework and scientific literature variety of the following indicator’s value calculations is under analysis; particular ways to improve the procedure of economic evaluation of the reputation of a bank, to increase the level of protection from the effects of unfair competition, are proposed.
