The effect of annual application of natural fertilizers and straw on the yielding of maize grown for grain in multiple monoculture

Abstract
The purpose of the work was to evaluate the effects of agricultural use of natural fertilizers and rye straw in the cultivation of maize for grain. The research was carried out using the variety PR39G12, on the field after a 6-year-old maize monoculture. In the years 2005-2008, two mono-factorial experiments were established on two soil complexes: rye and good wheat. It was shown, that the use of natural fertilizers and straw limited the negative effects of maize cultivation in monoculture. The application of a full dose of manure on a good wheat complex and plowing of rye straw with the addition of 40 m3 ha-1 slurry on a rye complex resulted in an increase in grain yield.
