Based on observations and data obtained , the results of the study at SD Negeri Banyuagung III showed an increase in student participation activity from 50% before the implementation of TGT to 100% after the implementation of TGT . This model has proven effective in increasing student activity, especially in PPKN learning with the material of life norms. Thus, the TGT cooperative learning model can be concluded as a method that has a positive influence in increasing the activeness of grade 5 students at SDN Banyuagung III, Surakarta. The TGT type cooperative approach can be used to maximize the participation of each student in the learning process . The results of this study can be used as a reference or input for both teachers and educators to improve the quality of effective learning by considering the right learning model. The TGT learning model can be used as an alternative in an effort to increase the active participation of students in learning activities.
