The Effect of Leadership and Organizational Culture in Increasing Employee Performance with Work Motivation as a Mediation Variable at Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal and Security Affairs

Abstract
This study aims to: 1) find out and analyze the influence of leadership and organizational culture on work motivation, 2) find out and analyze the influence of leadership and organizational culture on employee performance, 3) find out and analyze the effect of work motivation on employee performance, 4) find out and analyze the influence of organizational culture on employee performance. leadership and organizational culture on employee performance through work motivation. The study was conducted at the Office of the Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal and Security Affairs with a research sample of 80 respondents. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling technique. The data analysis method used descriptive analysis and path analysis. The results showed that: 1) there is an influence of leadership and organizational culture on work motivation, 2) there is an influence of leadership and organizational culture on employee performance, 3) there is an influence of work motivation on employee performance, 4) there is no influence of leadership and organizational culture on employee performance. employee performance through work motivation. The variable of work motivation does not give a role to leadership and organizational culture to improve employee performance
