The effect of metacognitive knowledge on women's self-actualization (Case Study: Women in Iran)

Abstract

In this paper, this study examined the effectiveness of cognitive training on self-actualization rate for women. This experimental study with pre-test and post-test with control group. The population consisted of all women over 20 years (Employed and unemployed) living in Tehran. 34 volunteers were recruited and randomly divided into control and experimental groups. The subjects were randomly divided into two groups: experimental and control groups. The experimental group received cognitive training, while the control group received no intervention. The Ahwaz self-actualization scale was used to collect data in the pre-and post-tests were completed by the participants. Variance was used for data analysis. According to research findings, cognitive training can lead to increased self-actualization women.
