The effect of temperature on CaCo3 sediment in water supply network (Case Study: South Khorasan-Esfezar qanat)
Journal Title: International Journal of Farming and Allied Sciences - Year 2014, Vol 3, Issue 2
Abstract
this study describes the influence of precipitation of CaCo3 in Esfezar Qanat in South Khorasan state. Studies perform by decreasing provisional hardness in water supply pipes in qanat region. Because this qanat is the single source of drinking water in this region detected its problem is important. For this experiment increasing in pH by lime make precipitation in reservoir. For expedition in formation cores of precipitation, We use chemical coagulant. With optimizing in chemical coagulant FeSo4 , Fe2(So4)3 and CuSo4 , Fe2(So4)3 in pH=9.5 have the best result in drinking water according quality parameters. The effect of temperature on the rate of sediment cores perform and the temperature range of 24 ° C is appropriate.
