THE EFFECT OF THE TEMPERATURE OF REARING YOUNG FISH OF DIFFERENT SPECIES ON THE CONTENT OF ORGANOPHOSPHORUS HIGH-ENERGY COMPOUNDS IN THEIR TISSUES

Abstract

Using the example of various types of fish: silver carp, grass carp and channel catfish, the effect of the temperature of growing young fish on the content of phosphorus compounds and calcium in their bodies was investigated. In all fish species studied, the calcium content increased with increasing water temperature from 24 to 36°C. The only exceptions were canal catfish fry, which were grown at a water temperature of 28°C. In their body, the total calcium content was reduced compared with fish acclimated at 24°C. This fact indicates the intensification of metabolic processes in the body of fish fry with increasing ambient temperature.
