THE EFFECTIVENESS OF BANKING ACTIVITY IN UKRAINE AND PROBLEMS OF ITS MAINTENANCE

Abstract
The article studies the current state of the banking system from the perspective of the efficiency. Environment of the banks functioning as the main trends in the banking system are analyzed. The indicators of the assets and capital, operational efficiency and financial result of the banks are investigated. The directions of the improving the efficiency of the banking system of Ukraine are suggested.
