The Effectiveness of Health Education of Pregnancy To Knowledge Level of Primigravida about Labor

Abstract
In the preliminary study conducted on BPM Atik there were 30 (75%) Primigravida said that they did not know what to do in labor since this was their first experience, so it was necessary to be educated on how to face the labor process. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of health education on pregnancy to the level of knowledge of primigravida trimester III in facing labor process in BPM Atik. Method : The study method used quasi experiment type with One Group Pre-test and Post- test design. The samples was 36 respondents of primigravida trimester III. Result: The result of this study was the knowledge of the respondent before the health education was 73,52 and after the health education was 83,60 with tcount > ttable (-8,501> -2,042) or p-value <á (0,000 <0,05) then H0 Rejected and Ha accepted. This meant there was an effect of providing health education of pregnancy to the level of knowledge of primigravida in facing labor in BPM Atik.
