The effectiveness of the environmental management system as an indicator environmental safety of agglomerations

Abstract
Investigated the problem application of management approaches for effective implementation the environmental management system (EMS) according to requirements of standard DSTU ISO 14001: 2015. Analysed the classic approaches to managing EMS. It was found that in practice it is necessary to combine traditional management approaches to improve the efficiency of EMS which will improve the environmental safety of urban agglomerations of Ukraine and ensure state’s sustainable development.
