Age and gender features of inflammatory bowel disease in the examined patients had been established. The impact of urbanization and social status on the disease progression has been shown. To determine the amount of appropriate medical care of these patients and the creation of programs for the prevention, early diagnosis, adequate induction and maintenance therapy is necessary to conduct full-scale epidemiological studies in all regions of Ukraine.
