Abstract
The article considers the main characteristics of the knowledge economy, its main elements and conditions of becoming. We investigate the most important aspects of the formation of the knowledge economy. Clarified the factors that ensure the application of knowledge in the economy. Clarified the essence of the knowledge economy and its main difference from the ³nnovation and information economy.
