Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of the disclosure of the concepts of a number of categories, such as: «mechanism», «legal mechanism», «legal regulation», «mechanism of legal regulation», «administrative and legal regulation», etc. The author emphasizes that the activity of the pharmaceutical industry is impossible without legal regulation, it is through the rules of law that the legitimate rights and legitimate interests of citizens are protected and access to high-quality and affordable medicines that are directly related to the health of citizens. With the help of the norms of administrative law, the legal regulation of such important areas of management activity of the pharmaceutical industry as standardization, certification, licensing, etc. is carried out.
