THE ESTIMATION OF COSMIC RAY COMPONENT CONTRIBUTION INTO THE TOTAL β- AND γ-BACKGROUND OF ATMOSPHERE
Journal Title: Вестник КРАУНЦ. Физико-математические науки - Year 2017, Vol 4, Issue
Abstract
Simulation results of characteristics of atmospheric γ- and β-radiation fields, which are produced by primary cosmic rays when overcoming an Earth’s atmospheres, with using Geant4 are presented. Estimates of γ- and β-radiation flux density with energies of 50 keV–3 MeV formed in ground atmosphere by cosmic radiation are 33 and 1.5 m-² s-¹, approximately, that is significantly lower than that formed by soil and atmospheric radionuclides. It was received that the contribution of cosmic component into the total γ- and β-background of the ground atmosphere at the heights of about 50 m from the land surface is only about 0.06 % and 1.14 %, respectively. The barometric effect within various ranges of energies of photons and electrons was also investigated in the work.

NONPOTENTIAL GEOMAGNETIC FIELD, SCHMIDT-BAUER CURRENTS AND ATMOSPHERIC ELECTRIC CURRENT
According to the developing model, the nonpotential part of the geomagnetic field is due to the vertical current associated with positive charge transfer by water vapour during plant and water surface evaporation in the...
MODELING INVERSIONS WITHIN LOW-MODE MODEL OF LARGE-SCALE DYNAMO
In this paper we investigate the question of the possibility of inversions within the low-mode dynamo model. The conditions under which the possibility of more frequent reversal of the magnetic field in comparison with i...
GEOACOUSTIC EMISSION DIRECTIVITY CHANGE AT «MIKIZHA» STATION ASSOCIATED WITH EARTHQUAKES IN KAMCHATKA
To investigate high frequency geoacoustic emission, a receiving system based on a compound vector receiver was installed in Kamchatka. It allows the authors to determine the direction of sound wave arrival. In the result...
ON THE SOLVING OF THE A. A. DEZIN PROBLEM ANALOGUE FOR A SECOND–ORDER MIXED–TYPE EQUATION BY THE GREEN’S FUNCTION METHOD
In this paper the A. A. Dezin problem analogue is considered for inhomogeneous parabolic–hyperbolic type equation of the second order. We proved the solution uniqueness of the solution to the problem under investigation....
