THE EVALUATION OF MODERN STATE VALUE PROSPECTS (PERSPECTIVES) OF UKRAINE REGION’S INTERNATIONAL TRADE IN THE CONTEXT OF UKRAINE’S DEEPENING IN INTEGRATION PROCESSES

Abstract
The article shows that the issues of improvement of foreign trade activity of Ukraine's regions are very important and relevant to the conditions of deepening of integration processes, especially with the EU, and the necessity to solve the problem of reforming the local government, providing regions with real financial leverage for social and economic development, also due to the expanding and improving of the efficiency of foreign economical activity. The aim of the article is the assessment of the current state and the prospects of development of foreign trade activity of Ukraine's regions, their export potential, and the development of recommendations aimed at overcoming the problems of export potential development in conditions of deepening of the integration processes. Subject of research is theoretical and applied aspects of the assessment of the state of foreign trade activity of Ukraine's regions and the prospects of their export potential development. The analysis of regional export structure in terms of the ratio of export to gross added value for each region allowed us to determine the regions that have the most powerful export potential, and also to identify regions with pretty weak export potential. On the base of the methodological approaches proposed in the monograph of the group of authors under the general editorship of A.A. Mazaraki, the article holds the grouping of Ukraine's regions, based on the degree of sensitivity of their economies to further foreign trade liberalization, on two criteria: the criterion of goods' consumption by region's population and the criterion of the level of competition between national and imported products. The assessment of received results is given. They can be useful in case of creating a free trade area with the EU. In the article there are offered some recommendations aimed at improvement of regions' foreign trade activity, improvement of the efficiency of use of their export potential, providing a broad production and geographical diversification of export; expanding of the trade with the EU should be the priority in this case.
