The development of the field of risk management allows for partial or total risk elimination. Road transport is exposed to various types of risk which may lead to usually considerable damage and losses. This publication is aimed at presenting selected groups of risk factors occurring in the logistics process and at determining their influence on enterprise functioning. It is also supposed to emphasize the significant role of risk analysis in the transportation business.
