THE FACTORS OF SHADOWING OF NATIONAL ECONOMICS IN THE CONTEXT OF RESOURCE-SAVINGS

Abstract
The article analyses the factors and key determinants of shadowing of national economic systems. The main causes of functioning of the shadow sector of economy are systematized and highlighted. A group of countries with economies in transition for 1999-2013 has been analyzed concerning the causality of the functioning of the shadow sector. It is established that the growth of GDP output is calculated on the basis of 1 kg energy resources (in oil equivalent) by 10% increases the share of shadow sector by 1,6%. Among the factors that reduce the level of the shadow sector the following ones should be noted: per capita income growth, foreign direct investment and institutional membership of the EU. Per capita income growth by 10% in the group of selected countries reduces the share of the shadow sector by 1,2%; the corresponding increase in direct foreign investment by 10% reduces the share of the shadow sector by 0,5%.
