Abstract
The category of the social intelligence of personality is investigated. The essence of the concept of the social intelligence of the individual as a component of the personal component of the social maturity of students of higher agrarian educational institutions is defined. The conditions for the formation of a high level of social intelligence of students of higher agrarian educational institutions in the teaching and educational process are singled out.
