The Freshwater Molluscs (Mollusca: Gastropoda et Bivalvia) of the City of Plovdiv

Abstract
During the period of a more than one hundred years (1911-2016) a total of 16 species of freshwater molluscs were recorded in Plovdiv city: 11 snail species and 5 mussel species. Richest in species are the floods of Maritsa River holding 13 species, 81% from all registered molluscs.
