The Gambling Industry and Possibility for Macau to Develop the Diversified Industries

Abstract
Abstract: The gambling industry has existed in Macau for more than 100 years. After 2002, when the gambling industry was opened to the foreign competition, the gambling industry developed with the speed faster than ever, and Macau has never depended on the gambling industry than now. The too much dependence on gambling industry causes some secret worries about Macau economy, social and economic problems. In 2014, the anti-corruption action became more violent. In such condition, the gambling industry of Macau was influenced greatly, and the economic situation deteriorated rapidly. Macau should develop other industries to eliminate the problems that has existed and keep the economic stability. Macau can develop the tourism as the important industry, because it has the foundation of tourism, besides, Las Vegas, which has also been a gambling city for a long time, provides the successful experience.
