The Historical Process of Social Welfare State and Evaluation of Some Modern Welfare States

Abstract
Social welfare is a matter of fact, which never loses popularity despite it, loses its effect with globalization nowadays. The mentality, which began with Beveridge Report in 1942, found a more space at government policies after economic crisis and World War 2 and it is accepted as the important step, which should be taken for being contemporary civilization. In this study examined the current status of the social welfare state, social aspects of Turkey's progress will be discussed. Also, some of the countries in the ranking of world prosperity will be analyzed by examining the differences.
