Abstract
The article is devoted to an overview of the categories “image of the author” and “image of the narrator”. The purpose of the study is to analyze the category of “image of the narrator” as a literary concept and identify the means used to create it in postmodern novels using the example of the novel “Soulless. The Tale on an Unreal Man”.
