THE IMPACT OF FLOODING AND ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION

Abstract

The present article proposes to explain and analyze the spatial distribution of the flooding phenomenon in the area and to signal the dysfunctions appeared in the system of dwellings in the Someş Valley and Bega River (Timişoara) after some perception from the population partially affected by flooding and the role of the environment education from this perspective. The study of the perception of population is partially affected by the risk of flooding from the localities in proximity with the Someş Valley and Bega River.
