The Impact of Licensing Implementation for Importing Goods to Thailand through Customs Brokers Using AEO Standard

Abstract

This research aims to study the impact of changing License per Invoice (LPI) system to Auto LPI system to Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) Customs Brokers (CBs) that what factor can influence with the adaptation of AEO CBs. The data consist of 161 Thai AEO CBs, while the population is 192 AEO CBs. This research employs quantitative analysis which was collected data by online survey questionnaire. It was sent directly to respondents’ email from Thai Authorized Customs Brokers Association (TACBA)’s ordinary member list. The research findings were most of factors influence with adaptation of AEO CBs, which are key in data, LPI approval, LPI cancellation, human error reducing from using Auto LPI, and Auto LPI system error reducing.
