THE IMPACT OF NETFLIX’S CONTROVERSIAL AND ILLICIT CONTENT ON CHANGING USERS ’ ATTITUDES IN EGYPT

Abstract
the paper aims to study the relationship between the impact of Netflix’s controversial and illicit content on changing users ’attitudes in Egypt. The researchers used the non-probability sampling technique. Based on survey data from 331 online respondents, the results were analyzed by the researchers via descriptive analysis. In addition, Chi-square test via Kruskal-Walis test was implemented to determine if the hypotheses were accepted or rejected. The existence of the relationship between variables was proven via the measuring of Spearman Correlation. Based on the research findings, policy implications and suggestions to further promote parental control are discussed.
