THE IMPACTS OF PERCEIVED ORGANIZATIONAL SUPPORT ON RISK PERCEPTION: A STUDY ON INTERNAL AUDITOR CANDIDATES

Abstract
Risk analysis is a critical stage for execution of internal audit which is very important for the settlement of corporate governance in organizations nowadays. In this study, it was studied that whether organizational support has an effect on the determining the risk taking tendency. As a result of this research (exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses, correlation and regression analysis, ANOVA), which was conducted on internal audit candidates who took part in certificate training (n=162), it was determined that perceived organizational support has affected risk taking tendency in a positive and meaningful way. Besides, it was tried to identify and discussed the difference between internal audit candidates’ risk taking tendency and demographic factors.
