The Important Thermal Characteristics of Matter and Their Computations with the Use of the Gibbs Potentials
Journal Title: Фізика і хімія твердого тіла - Year 2018, Vol 19, Issue 2
Abstract
In this paper, the important thermal characteristics of matter (they describe thermodynamic systems in a state of thermodynamic equilibrium) were calculated. There are the following important thermodynamic functions: the system internal energy U , the thermal function (or enthalpy) H, the free Helmholtz energy F , the thermodynamic potential (or Gibbs free energy) G , the Gibbs grand thermodynamic potential W , the entropy S , the specific heat capacity CV . These functions are explicit functions of system’s parameters, they fulfil some mathematical relationships and possess some total differentials. These functions are calculated in this paper and their physical sense is given in the cited works.

Mechanical Activation of Mixtures SiO2/γ-Fe2O3 and its Impact on the Distribution of Valence Electrons
Crystalline and electronic structures of SiO2/γ-Fe2O3 mixtures have been analyzed using X-ray diffraction (XRD) and ultra-soft X-ray emission spectroscopy (USXES). The energy redistribution of Fesрd, Sisp and Op valence...
Effect of laser irradiation on Electrochemical Properties of composite MoS2/C
The paper presents the results of studies of electrochemical properties of composite MoS2/C. It is shown that the contribution to the conductivity of composites makes a charge accumulation capacitive nature inherent in h...
Distribution of Temperature Profiles in Nonstoichiometric SiOx Films by Laser Annealing of the Two Beams
Theoretical study of temperature distribution profiles in nonstoichiometric SiOx films by annealing two laser beams of equal intensity. Temperature distribution on the surface of the films SiOx, irradiated laser beams at...
Phase Diagrams of Ion Conductor
Equilibrium states of one-dimensional ion conductor are investigated on the bases of the lattice model where ions are treated as Pauli particles. The frequency dependencies of single-particle spectral densities are calcu...
