THE INFLUENCE OF POST-SOVIET SPACE TRANSFORMATION ON GLOBAL GEOPOLITICAL SCENARIOS

Abstract
The purpose of the article is the research of underlying features and possible conse-quences of the world geopolitical shifts after USSR fall. The methodology of the re-search is based on principles of a geopolitical analysis using both realistic and constructivist approach with its development into a meta-geopolitics. The article analyses the possible geopolitical scenarios of post-Soviet space based on causes and results of the disintegration. The transition process from autocracy to democracy and backward is analysed. The feasibility of study is based on the increasing value of diplomatic relations with the former USSR and the assessment of geopolitical changes in the world after the Soviet collapse and the current geopolitical situation in Central and Eastern Europe and the world at the whole.
