Abstract
The influence of the accelerated aging of reinforced beech wood on its selected mechanical properties. The work concerns the assessment of accelerated aging effect of reinforced beech wood on its selected mechanical properties. Two reinforcement variants were tested: 1 layerand 4 layers of wrapping with glass fabric. In addition, non-reinforced samples were subjected to artificial aging for comparative purposes. The studies have shown that percentage of reinforcement significantly increase the compression strength of wood exposed to external factors.
