THE INTERCHANGE FEE IMPACT ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF NON-CASH TRANSACTIONS

Abstract

The purpose of the paper is to present the influence of legally regulated interchange fee amount on non-cash turnover. The larger number of point of sale terminals has resulted in the increase in a number and amount of non-cash transactions, what minimally enables banks to compensate for the reductions of revenues due to the above mentioned fee.<br/><br/>
