The Italian Exile Policy Towards The Libyans During The First World War

Abstract

The history of Libya is full of heroism and glory throughout the ages and in various fields. The colonial period of 1911 - 1942 certainly confirmed this through the great number of the battles that the Libyans fought against the Italians, one of the first policies used by Italy is the policy of exile to the prisons of the Italian islands. In this study, I tried to shed a light on the exile policy adopted by the Italians towards the Libyans during the First World War, and to highlight the various proceduers adopted by the Italians in order to consolidate Libya as Italian and to eliminate all forms of resistance movements
