THE MARKET OF CITY’S HOUSING AND COMMUNAL SERVICES: FEATURES OF DEMONOPOLISATION AND DEEPENING OF COMPETITION

Abstract
The article covers the problems concerning the regulation of the market of services in the city’s housing and communal sphere as related to the processes of demonopolization and development of a competitive environment. The monopolistic and potentially competitive segments of the city’s housing and communal services market are characterized, and the role of the bodies of state administration and bodies of local self-government in the regulation of these segments is determined. The expediency of expanding the powers of local self-government bodies in the realization of the process of demonopolization and expansion of the competitive environment in the city's housing and communal services market is justified.
