THE MEAN LIGHT CURVES OF THE MIRA-TYPE STARS IN THE H- AND K-BANDS
Journal Title: Odessa Astronomical Publications - Year 2016, Vol 29, Issue
Abstract
For nine Mira-type stars (o Cet, R Leo, S Car, U Her, X Oph, R Aql, RR Aql, S Ori, S Scl,) and one semi-regular star (L2 Pup), the mean light curves have been obtained. The initial values of the brightness (observations) were fitted by a trigonometric polynomial of the statistically optimal order. The Fourier coefficients and the additional parameters (degree of the trigonometric polynomial, amplitude of the brightness, the maximal slope of ascending and descending branch, semi-amplitudes and initial epochs for the brightness maximum (minimum magnitude) of each harmonic contribution, etc., were given in the tables reported earlier by Kudashkina (2016). In this study, we have received several interesting correlations between these parameters in the bands H and K. It was particularly noted the anomalous position on the figures of the star X Oph. The mean light curves of the investigated stars are commonly symmetric in the near infrared region (H and K).

CONNECTION BETWEEN THE CME VELOCITIES AND DECAMETER RADIO BURSTS PARAMETERS FROM URAN-4 OBSERVATIONS
The paper reports the results of the research of connection between the coronal mass ejections (CME) with the IV type continual decameter bursts parameters. As the parameters characterizing the CME velocity, we used the...
MICROWAVE EMISSION OF SOLAR FLARES: CORONAL MASS EJECTIONS AND SHOCK WAVES
Coronal mass ejections (CMEs) mostly affect the geomagnetic field. These structures are observed and studied with coronagraphic images thereforewe don’t see the corona in the plane of the sky and the measurements of the...

The plate archive of the 1.2 m Baldone telescope (Latvia) has approximately 780 and 4660 astronegatives exposed in 1967-1993 in the U (ZU21 + UG1 filter plates) and V (A600N + ZS17 filter films) closed to Johnson system...
RESULTS OF PROCESSING OF ASTRONEGATIVES WITH COMMERCIAL SCANNER
Astrometric errors depending on the method of scanning with different spatial resolutions were studied with commercial scanner such as Epson Perfection V750 Pro. Accuracy, time of processing, volume of storage were te...
ANALYSIS OF ASTEROID’S OBSERVATIONS IN OPEN PHOTOMETRIC DATABASES
Today there are several open photometric databases containing important information for the study of the physical properties of asteroids. These databases are based on the results of various measurements of the different...
