Journal Title: The Journal of International Social Research - Year 2014, Vol 7, Issue 29

Abstract

In this study, the concept of creative organizational climate, career satisfaction and the mediating role of affective commitment are discussed. This study includes a research implemented with academic members who work both in a private and a public university in Turkey. The results show that creative climate’s effect on career satisfaction is partially mediated by affective commitment in academic staffs. Additionally, the results reveal significant differences between some demographic characteristics and creative climate, affective commitment and career satisfaction.
