The Methodical Approaches for Creating of the Sub-Indexes of Regional Human Development

Abstract
The problems of regional disparities in the development of urban and rural areas in the context of human development research are topical today. The settlement differences in human development issues according to such aspects as reproduction, social status, comfortable accommodation, welfare, decent work and education are of particular interest. This article shows the methodical approaches of building sub-indexes of regional human development as an example of methodological principles of forming sub-indexes by taking into account the type of area of residence. Indicators are selected from the existing regional human development index database, for which the statistics in the context town-village are available, using the principle of maximum coherence of main regional human development index of the sub-indexes. Verification of indicators has been done to ensure the quality of data, and a list of select indicators which require a specific procedure improving the reliability of data has been formed. An example of the result of the effects of the performed procedure is given by the author. The sub-indexes of human development with urban and rural territories are calculated in the article. The main results and the differences in regional and settlement aspect are shown.
