The Methodology of the Social Policy of the Modern State

Abstract
The article describes the main components of the methodology of the social policies of the modern state, the main features of the welfare state have been highlighted. The definition of social management has been given and its functions have been determined. The effectiveness of social policies is caused by many factors. Among them, an important role is assigned to the organizational effectiveness of government measures in the field of management of social processes. Specific management solutions can reduce or increase the compensatory possibilities of the social sphere, more or less fully take into account the level of the modern needs of the population. The need to improve the efficiency of social policy increasingly felt by the people and recognized by the authorities.
