THE MILITARY LEADER AS AN ORATOR AND A PEDAGOGUE

Abstract
Introduction. The article portrays the figure of the military leader as an orator and pedagogue. The role and place of the oratory in his activities were determined. The principles that should be followed in the process of preparing for public speaking were outlined. The main goals of speeches were defined. The main elements of convincing speeches were described. The rules of public speeches, which make the performance vivid and memorable, were identified. The value of the speech culture of the military leader and the influence of the voice on the perception of information were shown. Methods. The analysis, synthesis, comparison and systematization of scientific sources, own empirical experience were used. Results. The scientific achievements of the article will affect the dissemination of information about the role and place of oratory in the activities of the military leader, the importance of eloquence for high-level military-professional tasks, successful professional performance. The perspectives include the study of the oratorical skills of military leaders, the development of their oratory skills.
