The mixed algorithm for placement and quantity optimization of dampers in vibration reduction of spatial reticulated structures
Journal Title: Science Paper Online - Year 2008, Vol 3, Issue 7
Abstract
An improved simulated annealing algorithm integrated with the idea from genetic algorithm as well as the adapting function is presented as a mixed algorithm for optimization of damper quantity and placement in vibration reduction of spatial reticulated structures. A typical reticulated shell structure under impact loading is taken as an example to demonstrate the advantages of the mixed algorithm with proper parameters. The study can provide an effective method of proper placement and reasonable quantity of energy absorbing dampers for vibration reduction of spatial reticulated structures.
