Abstract
The research analyzed the main psychological theories and approaches to the research of identity, self- identity, professional identity. Described scientific ideas about the structure of identity, the identification process, psychological factors and determinants of professional self- identity. The model of development of professionalself- identity in the context of the structure of subjective experience.
